Support

Questions, problems, or feedback about BabyHydrate – Wet Diaper Watch β€” you'll get a human.

⚠️ This page is app support, not medical help. If you are worried about your baby right now, contact your pediatrician. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.

Email is the one and only support channel: pixeyo@gmail.com

It helps to include your iOS version, the app version (Settings β†’ About in the app), and what you were doing when the problem appeared. Because the app collects no data, we can't see anything on our side β€” your description is the diagnostic.

πŸ“– Most questions are answered in the full usage guide β€” the complete manual for every feature, from one-tap logging to exports.

Frequently asked questions

Where is my data? Can you recover it for me?

Your log lives only on your device β€” there is no account and no server, so we have no copy and cannot recover data remotely. Deleting the app deletes the log. To keep your own archive, use the free JSON backup export from the export sheet. See the privacy policy.

I bought Pro on one device β€” how do I get it on another?

Open the app on the other device (signed into the same Apple ID, or a Family Sharing member's) and tap Restore Purchases on the Pro screen. Purchases are handled by Apple; refunds also go through Apple via reportaproblem.apple.com. If Pro is refunded, the app downgrades but never deletes your data.

The overnight alert didn't sound. Why?

The threshold alert is a local, time-sensitive notification. Check that notifications are allowed for BabyHydrate (Settings β†’ Notifications), and that your Focus / sleep mode permits time-sensitive notifications β€” a Focus configured to exclude them will silence the alert. Honest limitation: no app can guarantee a notification always breaks through. Details in the guide, section 10.

The status shows Watch or Call but my baby seems fine β€” is the app broken?

Probably not β€” check the log first. The status is derived purely from your logged timestamps against published, age-banded thresholds; a forgotten wet diaper looks identical to a missing one. Log it (or edit a timestamp) and the status re-derives instantly. Also confirm the birth month/year is set: with age skipped, the app deliberately uses the most conservative 0–3 month thresholds. And the standing rule in both directions: the app counts, it doesn't diagnose β€” what you observe in your baby, and your pediatrician's advice, always outrank the card.

Does the app work offline?

Yes β€” completely. Logging, status, notifications, Nursery Mode, and exports all work with no internet connection. Only the App Store purchase flow itself needs a connection, and Apple handles that.

Can I use the app in my language?

BabyHydrate is fully translated into English, Romanian, French, Italian, German, and Spanish. It follows your iPhone's language automatically, and you can change it any time in Settings β†’ Language β€” the app, the widgets, and the reminders all switch instantly.

How do I change my baby's age or my pediatrician's number?

Both live in the app's settings: the month/year of birth (which picks the threshold age band) and the saved pediatrician number used by the one-tap call button on the When-to-call card.

I found wrong or unclear wording in the app's health copy.

Please report it β€” seriously. The threshold and safety texts are sourced from AAP / HealthyChildren.org, Nationwide Children’s, Cleveland Clinic, CHKD, and the Canadian Paediatric Society (reviewed June 2026), and reports about that copy are treated as top-priority bugs. Email pixeyo@gmail.com.

Feature requests?

Welcome at pixeyo@gmail.com. One standing boundary: requests for the app to compute fluid amounts, doses, or a diagnosis will be declined β€” that line is permanent, by design.
